Privacy Policy
Last updated: 21 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how SIA “TOP VOICE”(“Top Voice”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use the Game Logic platform. Top Voice is committed to processing personal data in compliance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679, “GDPR”) and the Latvian Personal Data Processing Law.
1. Who we are
The data controller is SIA “TOP VOICE”, registration No. 41203035504, registered at Celtnieku iela 3–46, Talsi, Talsu novads, LV-3201, Latvia. For any privacy matter you can reach us at info [at] glogic.app. We have not appointed a Data Protection Officer, as we are not required to under Article 37 GDPR; the address above handles all privacy enquiries.
2. Our two roles: controller and processor
Top Voice plays two different roles depending on the data involved:
- As a controller. For data about our own customers — account, billing, and support data — we decide why and how the data is processed and are the data controller. This Policy governs that processing.
- As a processor. The Service lets game-server owners collect data about players on their servers (via the GLMetrics modification). For that in-game player data, the server owner is the data controller and Top Voice acts only as a data processor, handling the data on the server owner’s documented instructions under a data processing agreement (Article 28 GDPR).
If you are a player and have a request about your in-game data, please contact the owner or administrator of the game server you played on, who is the controller of that data. We will assist them in responding.
3. What data we collect
- Account & login data (we are controller): your name, email address, and hashed password. If you log in with Steam, we receive your Steam ID and public Steam profile information via Steam OAuth from Valve — we never receive your Steam password.
- Billing data (we are controller): your subscription plan, billing identifiers, and transaction records. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not see or store your full card number.
- Support & communications data: the messages you send us and related metadata.
- Technical data: IP address and request data needed to deliver and secure the Service.
- In-game player data (we are processor for the server owner): data the GLMetrics modification collects from game servers and transmits to the Game Logic API — for example in-game positions, gameplay events, in-game chat, bans, and player or character names, with associated game identifiers. The source of this data is the server owner’s game server, not you directly; we process it on the server owner’s behalf.
4. Why we use it & our legal bases
| Purpose | Data | Legal basis (GDPR Art. 6) |
|---|---|---|
| Create and operate your account; provide the Service | Account / login | 6(1)(b) Performance of a contract |
| Process subscriptions and payments | Billing | 6(1)(b) Contract |
| Issue invoices and keep accounting records | Billing | 6(1)(c) Legal obligation |
| Secure the platform; prevent fraud and abuse | Technical | 6(1)(f) Legitimate interests (keeping the Service secure and available) |
| Respond to support requests | Support | 6(1)(b) Contract / 6(1)(f) Legitimate interests |
| Send service and transactional emails | Account, billing | 6(1)(b) Contract |
For in-game player data, the purpose and legal basis are determined by the server owner as controller, not by Top Voice; we process it only on their instructions.
5. Cookies
Game Logic uses only strictly necessary cookies— for example to keep you signed in and to maintain session security. We do not use analytics, advertising, or third-party marketing cookies or trackers, so no cookie-consent banner is required for these essential cookies. If we ever introduce non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent first and update this Policy.
6. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with the service providers (“sub-processors”) that help us run Game Logic, and only as needed. Each is bound by terms requiring GDPR-level protection. We do not sell personal data.
| Sub-processor | Service | Data |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Payment processing & billing | Billing / transaction data (card data is held by Stripe, not by us) |
| Valve / Steam | Steam OAuth sign-in | Steam ID and public Steam profile data |
| Cloudflare | CDN, DNS, hosting of the website, and security | Technical data, IP addresses, request data |
| Our hosting provider | Backend application and database hosting | All categories stored by the platform |
| Our email provider | Sending account and transactional emails | Email address, name, message content |
7. International transfers
Some of our sub-processors are located outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including in the United States. Where we transfer personal data outside the EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards under Chapter V of the GDPR — an adequacy decisionof the European Commission where one applies (including the EU–US Data Privacy Framework for certified recipients), and/or the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented by additional measures where needed. You can request a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us.
8. How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose it was collected:
- Account data — for the life of your account, and for a limited period afterwards to handle disputes and legal claims.
- Billing and invoice data — for the period required by Latvian accounting and tax law.
- Support data — for as long as needed to resolve your request and a reasonable period afterwards.
- In-game player data — retention is set by the server owner (controller); we delete or return it on their instruction and on termination of their service.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access your data; to rectify inaccurate data; to erase data; to restrict or object to processing; to data portability; and, where processing is based on consent, to withdraw consent at any time (without affecting earlier processing). To exercise any right, contact us at info [at] glogic.app. We respond within one month, and there is normally no charge. If you are a player asking about in-game data, please contact the server owner (controller); we will support them in fulfilling your request.
10. Children’s data
Game Logic is not directed at young children. Where our services rely on consent and are offered directly to a child, in Latvia the digital age of consent is 13 (Latvia lowered the GDPR default from 16). We do not knowingly process the data of children below this age without the consent or authorisation of a parent or guardian, and we will delete such data if we become aware of it.
11. Automated decision-making
We do not carry out automated decision-making, including profiling, that produces legal effects concerning you or similarly significantly affects you.
12. Security
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including password hashing, encryption in transit, access controls, and separation between customers’ data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data and to notify you and the supervisory authority of any breach where the law requires.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated “Last updated” date and, for material changes, notify you by email or in-app.
14. Contact & complaints
